Alchemy Recognise Substance By taking a small sample of a substance and testing it in a lab an Alchemist might be able to determine what it is. The following formula is used, and one roll is made per day spent in the lab. Possible bonuses and results are listed on the following table; a roll of 1 is always a complete failure. (Alchemist's Specialism Level x Lab's Rating) + (Mages Int over 14) + d20
After a substance has been successfully recognised the Alchemist is entitled to a 50 XP award. |
