Alchemy Substance Production Before this can be attempted the formulae must be acquired or invented. Any ingredients or materials must also be procured. Potions, Elixirs, Oils and Dusts are usually made in batches. The size of the batch, the rating of the lab, the difficulty of the potion as well as the competence of the Alchemist are all factors in determining whether the result is a success or not.
The following formula is used, together
with the following table to determine the result.
(Alchemist's Specialism Level x Lab's Rating) -
After a substance has been successfully produced the Alchemist is entitled to its XP Value (50 XP / point of substance difficulty) times the batch size as an experience point award. |
