  Pirate Hunting
This is another attempt at getting rich quick: find some pirates, wait for them to attack a ship, and then attack them while their weak after combat, and nick all of their loot. To this end we go to catch a pirate ship that has been operating out of Tesphesus for awhile...and end up getting fried.

436 Bytine 4: We all leave Ole by boat bound for Xi, doing some pirate hunting.
8: Xi-At.
14: Heckabeth
20: At the Tesphesus blockade. "The Rose" is on duty. Slightly flies into the harbour -- the small galley suspected of being the pirate vessel isn't there. Flies back to blockade. Start watching.
21: Watching.
22: Slightly flies back to harbour. The galley's there. Slightly stays on boat. Hammers a nail into the mast. Stays overnight.
23: Flies back to blockade. Flies back to boat. John and Trevok land on the beach and stay overnight. Slightly is spotted and attacked by invisible thing. He flies back to blockade. Our boat is attacked by a fighter who simply appears on the boat. He warns us not to send spies into Tesphesus. A lightning bolt from somewhere takes out Akraan, Willos, Hart dead (sorry -- departed), Philip down, Quarter dead. Retreat but get within sight of harbour.
24: Dawn. The galley has gone. Give chase anyway. Erkun uses augury to determine direction. We head west.
25: Carrigon (captain) says we arrive at trade route. The coast of Xi.
26: Patrol trade route between Xi and Heckabeth - South.
28: Heckabeth.
Ethot 1: Fulligar has new dog -- Straw. Off to Tesphesus.
2: By Tesphesus. "Liberator" on duty. Ethereal attack at night. Philip attacks Meer. Meer down. Everhard (reverse chickened) attacks Philip. John goes ethereal. It was Philips extra-planar enmity.
5: Ole/New Figon. Quarter raised. Wills have been randomized. Inspiration from Erkun about storm in the south. Off we go again.
6: Set sail for Tesphesus. Fair weather.
8: Arrive at blockade.
9: Little galley in port. "Daisy" arrives (another boat has been attacked, late on the 5th.) Akraan talks to porpoise, Erkun scares them off by mentioning sharks. Erkun does monster summoning I. Summons four pirates. The little galley is a barge. Akraan has distress arrow idea (arrows with a continual light on them).
10: Xi-At,
16: Offshore, waiting to see a distress arrow. Slightly sees the barge to W. Maybe triangulate. Head south to intercept. Lots of fire. Lots of damage. Quarter and Everhard are dead again. Meer near death. Rescued by Gif (Slightly).
17: Barge gets back, we pull blockade out. Head to Ole.
19: Ole. Quarter and Everhard are raised in New Figon.
